The
New Hampshire
Pari-Mutuel Commission regulates thoroughbred racing, harness racing
and greyhound racing in New Hampshire. The Commission's duties include the
licensing of racetracks and individuals (jockeys, owners, trainers, etc.),
collection of taxes and fees, and operation of the State Racing
Laboratory. The lab tests for illegal substances that might be used to
influence the outcome of a race.
The New Hampshire
Lottery is regulated separately.
